  • From you many use Adobe Photoshop to edit pictures. Many want to add a colorful grain effect to images. This effect is added by going to noise Filter. This is four step tutorial for you. let's find out how?

    Add this Effect:
    • Fill Layer- Open Photoshop and then open any image yo wold like to open. Using your opened Image, add a new layer to image by pressing Ctrl + Shift + N.

    • Now Go to Edit→Fill and set the 'Contents', used to color. Now choose a color from your color menu and press OK.

    • Apply Grain - Now go to the 'Filter' menu and scroll down to Noise function and click on Add Noise. A dialog box will open. Now tick the Monochromatic in the Noise dialog box and set the Gaussian with the amount around 18-20%.

    • Set Blend Mode - To merge this layer with the image underneath, set its blend mode in the Layers palette to Overlay. The image will have the grain effect should show through as well. If the color is too overpowering, the opacity of the layer can be reduced until the color is less prominent.
